Great things can be accomplished when a company is an active, corporate citizen. As a family-owned company, our commitment to the community is a family affair. Through partnerships with organizations such as Multiple Sclerosis Society, United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters and AtWork!, Oberto is providing much needed resources and encouragement that is changing people's lives and strengthening our communities.
The National MS Society
Greater Washington Chapter | February 19, 2009
The National MS Society, Greater Washington Chapter and the Oberto Sausage Company are making outstanding strides towards finding a cure for MS.
In addition to a generous annual donation, Oberto takes a hands-on approach to corporate sponsorship. The company provides Oberto sausages to the 10,000 walkers for lunch during this 2-day event.
Each April, team captain, Kim Oberto, leads a very dedicated group of individuals on a walk to find a cure for MS. 2007 marked the highest fundraising year for this ambitious Oberto team, but they have plans to shatter the record in 2009.
