U-1 Miss Oh Boy! Oberto Hydroplane Gearing Up for Seafair 2010!

Oberto Sausage Company and the U-1 Miss Oh Boy! Oberto team celebrated the conclusion of the 2008 season with a National Championship win – the first for the Miss Oh Boy! Oberto since 1975. Oberto has sponsored 10 unlimited hydroplanes and is the longest continuous sponsor in the history of Unlimited Racing.

Driver, Steve David, and the Miss Oh Boy! Oberto team have a history of success with three years of second place finishes in the National High Points Championship and back-to-back wins in Seattle and San Diego. Fans have come to know the Oberto boat for its winning track record.

The National MS Society

Greater Washington Chapter | April 6, 2009

The National MS Society, Greater Washington Chapter and the Oberto Sausage Company are making outstanding strides towards finding a cure for MS.

In addition to a generous annual donation, Oberto takes a hands-on approach to corporate sponsorship. The company provides Oberto sausages to the 10,000 walkers for lunch during this 2-day event.

Each April, team captain, Kim Oberto, leads a very dedicated group of individuals on a walk to find a cure for MS. 2007 marked the highest fundraising year for this ambitious Oberto team, but they have plans to shatter the record in 2009.
